Hi ladies,
I've setup a shared SCSI cluster with adv2.1 - whatever the software that
comes with it, cluadmin or something.
Anyway, the clu software is functionning -> or so it says [The web GUI says
that the heartbeat is good, both nodes are good and virtual "cloud" IP's are
also good. i.e.: I can ping them -> spot on no bother. I can also drill down
and see that NFS [my only configured cluster service - so far] is also
shared.
The web gui and /etc/cluster.conf [generated by the quorum/cluconfig
depending] both have correct entries for my NFS exports. For easy setup I
have left it wide open, *(rw) with no_root_squash etc etc.
So the soft reckons I have /mnt/services/nfs exported to all.
But, this is not the case.
When I run showmount -e 192.168.3.200 [clustered NFS IP address] it says
there are no exports!
rpcinfo -u 192.168.3.200 reports that all NFS related services are cool.
I cannot use the traditional /etc/exports as then it wouldn't be clustered!
Also the IPaddress would be different.
Has anyone come across this before? I realise its a new product and I'm
gonna call Redhat if no one has experience with it,
Best regards
CW
