There's a map somewhere out there of all the emacs versions and their
lineage, covering Gosmacs, MULE, Epoch, XEmacs, Microemacs, and
anything else that was spawned from the same codebase/mindset
(Microemacs is a from-scratch build using its own macro language, as I
recall)
