Indeed. Though I should point out that I personally didn't do the mod as
I'd end up destroying the motherboard.

Very good point.

Well actually, that isn't entirely true. I do want DVD playback for
those rentals or loans. And I'm very impressed with the DVD playback on
the xbox by the way. I hadn't bothered getting the DVD playback kit
before as I had a DVD player already.
In the short term, the regular DVD's that Oisin would like to watch like
the Disney stuff or Bear or what not. I want those out of reach as he
keeps putting them in and taking them out and stuff. His bear one is
scratched on the last episode already and he only got it for xmas. I
don't want that happening to Finding Nemo for example. So the short term
was to get the regularly used movies/programs on there to avoid wear and
tear damage.
But then when I got thinking about how cool that would be to have films
on demand for Oisin etc. I thought about all my Music and DVD's on
demand and it would be awesome. But that it wouldn't fit on a 120GB disc
or be reliable if it did. So I started to ponder about the media server
and so posted it for the hell of it.
