Pff.

Random statistics, where's Benjamin Disraeli when you need him?

I love the part where it says loads of organisations "reckon" it would cost too
much and get them nothing in return, so they won't bother.

Brazil, seems to "reckon" different, but, then again, that's only one of the
world largest and most populus countries... so what would they know?

This just seems to be some complete arse this crowd seems to have made up on
the spur of the moment.

Not that I use Windows, but, that last time I did, there were theese ridculous
licensing fees, which cost the company at the time, something like 5 grand for
14 developers.

So basically it would have to take me (n) days of work doing nothing else, but,
setting up a Linux Server to do the job of the Back office server, *before* the
cost would even come close to a doze server. Minus the cost of the Anti Virus I
wouldn't have to deploy on it. Minus the cost of the down time for Exchange
being a pile of excrament. Minus, the regular "reboots" of the Server that were
needed because of a bug... "introduced" in an Exchange patch (stepping 2?) and
then subsequently not fixed, in the next three Exchange patches.

Made up, corporate floosie statistics?
For shame, technical journalists don't go in for that kind of sensationalism.

Where do these people get their information from a) directly from M$'s
marketing department or b) from some wrapper found on the ground they had been
licking for taste?

The mind boggles.

Also, beecher is in league with Satan!
