Yes of course, in this case its ported to 2.4, RHEL products only have bug
fixes, NOT experimental code a la fedora.

AS2.1 update3 (third quarterly update) is based on RH7.2, kernel 2.4.9-e25

When it comes to things like SAN's running oracle rac clusters, I would
feel better with RHEL products ;--0
