I found the 630-11 very troublesome, both with the linux driver and the
windows driver. It kept hanging and not responding at random times. Of
course, this could be down to my PC, as the modem takes it's power from
the USB connection. However, other USB devices don't seem to have any
problems.

I'd recommend getting an ethernet DSL modem. I picked up a SpeedStream
something-or-other second-hand for €50, and it works very well out of the
box - about 20% faster than the USB Zyxel yoke, and never goes down.

If the 630 'M' is ethernet, it should be grand, if it isn't I'd look very
closely at it before I bought it.
