I've got a situation where there is a load of company knowledge in emails
on several windows based machines. Most of them are OUTLOOK .pst files
I want to do the following.
Extract the *.pst files to some format mail archive on Linux
Run something to remove any viruses that may be in them
Run some Spam catch to identify as much Spam as possible
Run something like fetchmail to pull down any more mail the come to
account, and feed it into the archive - complete with viruses and Spam
identified or removed.
(opt by cool) Strip any attachments into a samba share, and link to it from
the mail message it came from.
Have some web based interface where I can index and search those mails, by
account or content/subject/etc/ etc... and browse threads
Run something to identify and delete exact duplicates, in case the same
mail is in several pst files
What would you guys recommend for those steps separately or otherwise...
