I've seen this, it seems to effect certain versions of 1.2 more than
others. For instance, I used to have a old version that never crashed,
and a more recent one that would crash every 15 minutes in heavy usage.

I have 2.0 installed now and I haven't seen any crashes. And the font
handling rocks. But I haven't really tested it yet.
