Is there a linux equivalent of Symatec Act? I must confess
that I dont know much about the app or its features, but
I've come across it quite a bit lately on clients machines,
and wondering if linux could support these users if they
were open to switching?

Also, on the sysadmin front, I'd like to clean up my DNS
server. I know there are domains in there marked as "master"
for which clients have silently switched providers, and I
know that there are some domains there whoose registration
have expired. I do secondary services for third party
primaries, and I imagine I'm pulling zone information for
some domains that the "master" is no longer a master for.

Is there an app that will take a named.conf and output a
list of master records for which the server is not actually
master, and similarly, a list of secondary records where the
master in question that I'm pulling for is no longer a
master server. I can't be the first one to consider the
practicality of such a tool, and would love to hear about
anything that can do any of the above func.

Thanks,

James.
