hwg.org does some okay online perl courses. I believe the cost is about 
$200 US (membership + course). It's relatively cheap, if you are also 
interested in doing some other courses that they offer. I did the perl 
beginners course about five years back, and found it easy to follow and 
the instructors were quick with responses.
