Well, I guess cracking open a CD may be in your future but not in the Windows
style knee jerk reinstallation mode - rather to boot the system so you can
mount the current system disk and have a look around. You need to establish
why nobody can login. Is the password or shadow file perhaps missing ? What
error messages you you get when you try to login? Do you even get a login
prompt? (I guess you do, as you'd surely have reported that) Can you ssh in
from another computer?
