At least if you ask for a jumper for a hard drive they might know what it
means..

5, yes 5, staff in compustore didn't know what it was.

pc world stock viaos too btw..

You're kidding me?!  I've only ever found the muppets in Peats helpful
when I was looking to buy Velleman kit stuff.  When it comes to computer
kit I always end up talking to some langer who couldn't tell an IDE
cable from a SCSI cable.
