You can send first-time posters an email specifying the terms, shoving all responsibility on the sender, and (to avoid having to moderate them) that they must contact xxx at ilug.ie to get their previous post removed if they dont or cant agree to the terms (which is unlikely to happen).

The problem is that it is not the sender's terms that are the problem, it is the company he works for - he theoretically has to clear it with them.

If the sender does nothing, at least ilug is in the position that it has issued conflicting terms to the sender's company's terms, which is a lot better than ilug doing nothing about the sender's company's terms.

Whether it is all worth the trouble may be more debateable.
