If it's a legal requirement, then do you have permission to use your
work email address to post to public forums like ilug. You should find
out. If it's a legal requirement to have to disclaimer on your emails
then my guess is that you shouldn't be using your work address.

I don't quite see how using a webmail client would cost you time and
effort. I've not really followed the thread on this, though I did spark
an IRC conversation about it early this morning. The size of the sig
isn't really the problem. Although I personally consider it rude to have
huge sigs, so many people have huge corporate disclaimers on their work
addresses that I have learned to blank them. Rather it's the legal
implications the sig implies and how that conflicts with our practice of
publicly available archives of the list. 

You're welcome to contribute to the list from a personal email address
if you can't remove the legal jargon from the sig. And if that is the
case then you shouldn't be using the work address for public postings.
