If I send you an invoice for 10k euro for services rendered, despite never
meeting you or otherwise gotten your consent, would you pay it?
It's really quite simple. I'd view the legal force of and liability from
such disclaimers as dubious at best. I Am Not A Lawyer, nor am I a priest
and I haven't gotten ilug at linux.ie to sign an NDA for me. E-mail is sent at
the senders risk.
Another favourite term in these things is 'the intended recipients', in the
case of this list that can translate to 'anyone and everyone'.
Just let it be. The proposed cures are worse than the disease.
