One could also argue that the employee , not ilug are responsible for the
resulting archiving, etc of a post. If a company employee takes confidential
data
and posts it to a competitor, The employee, not the postman who delivers the
envelope
is responsible. If the welcome mail to the lug states that all posts are
publicly accessible
and archived , then the lug could hardly be held responsible for the
employees actions.
Posted letters get delivered (usually) , mails posted to ilug get archived.
The employee
would know this absolving us of liability (although we might still have to
remove content
at the request of a rights holder).
