It's a fine idea for finished works.  On the other hand, if you've
written a page or set of pages but may need to keep revamping them for a
while, you'll either have to bother the linux.ie maintainers repeatedly
or put up with obsolete versions.  It's a bit of a dilemma.

When I authorise mirrors of pages I expect to maintain, I always put a
pointer at the top stating at what URL the master, best-maintained copy
can be found -- and then require that the pointer remain in place on
mirror copies.  That helps.
