As this is slightly on-topic for this thread I'll just add a few
comments about the free trial from IOL. I got my DSL router last Monday
and installed it (on a FC2 system) via an ethernet connect according to
the manual. Ethernet was setup using DHCP but I had to add 192.168.1.1
to /etc/resolv.conf as it wasn't added by the DHCP client.

Now, from time to time, and sometimes frequently, I have to restart the
router because the dns server in it dies or at least gives my browser
and ssh/ping/other tools can't resolve hostnames. I put Esat's dns
servers in the resolv.conf but they didn't work at all. Have I got the
correct dns server?
I can still ping and connect to IP addresses when the problems occur, so
it's not the DSL connection.

Donncha.
