Why don't you clever people stop arguing,
and explain how I can get more than 8bpp
on my ATI Rage Mobility P/M graphics system
(Sony C1VFK Picturebook).

I used to have 16bpp before Xorg came out.
I sometimes suspect that Linux has reached its peak
and is starting to decline ...
