You don't need gnokii for the 6310 with a bluetooth connect, unless you
want to access addressbook and things like that.
The 6310 has a full featured AT command-set and works like a regular
modem. There are even special AT commands for sms send/receive.
Anyhow, just make sure, that you have the serial connection (typically
/dev/rfcomm0) setup and working + that you can see the phone and
everything should look like a regular modem.
