[ILUG] ssh + remote xmms wierdness

I have key setup between box 1 and box 2, such that I can ssh as user x
from box-1 to box-2 as user y.

That's great.

echo xmms | ssh lexluth0r at 192.168.0.2

will start xmms alright, but, unlike when I ssh directly into the box
and start xmms, when I use the above command the skin on xmms is
completely garbled.

maybe something like

echo "no hup xmms" | ssh lexluth0r at 192.168.0.2 would be better.

To summarise.

I get sound either way, yes the X11 forwarding stuff works, the
difference is, when I start xmms remotely from an aterm on my local
machine all is good, when I use the above command, the skins get fncked
up.

Any ideas?
