[ILUG] Commands have stopped working

I've found a few errors during Start up and Shut down.

However after fixing them I noticed that my account was deleted when I
reinstalled the setup-1.5.27 rpm.

I've added the account again so this may have solved these particular
errors, could they be associated with my the main problem?
