1.  If I had a motherboard with an i845-anything video chipset built
into it, I'd retrofit a real video card.  But Views Differ<tm>.

2.  Failing that, http://www.backports.org/ lists a 4.3.0 backport.  Or,
if you want something less boring than stable/woody, use the HD
installer on any of the Morphix images, which provides 4.3.0.
