 Hi Christian

I appreciate your enquiry and understand exactly where you are coming from
like Linux as a main street desktop and server OS we are in the process of
developing a company that can supply and promote Linux to the mainstream in
 Ireland.

The business was established on a very tight budget with most funds spent
on
marketing bringing the products to market and establishing the business
with
a view to the long term as it happens in order to get the concept up and
going the least cost options was adopted I formed a joint venture with
another interested party who was primarily involved in the development of
websites unfortunately his background has been windoze based but I am
 working on this.

If I had a solution that offered a start-up cost of 0 for the site I would
jump at the chance in a blink. Any funds earned are put back into
purchasing
Linux software so that it is available to the growing customer base I am
trying to establish as a consequence the Linux publishing companies I deal
with which is basically all put that money back into the development of
Linux and continuing the growth of same can the same be said of the people
who download the same software and sell to their clients. Also JMC SOFTWARE
the mother company of TheLinuxMall is committed to putting 1% of all
profits
back into the Linux development community can the same be said of the
begrudgers. If you had purchased or sought advise from me you would find we
are more than happy to facilate in any way we can the development of Linux
from basic support to advise whether we have sold the software or not. I am
sure some of the people on the list would testify to this. Name another
software vendor service provider who will give support to products not sold
 by them.

Also to the best of my knowledge other than 1 other mandrakesoft.i.e. I do
not know of any software vendor putting this much effort into Linux as a
 serious software alternative in Ireland.

If balcknight solution would like to offer free hosting and site
development
facilities for the www.thelinuxmall.com site as the development people
currently working on the site do give me a ring I would be more than happy
 to talk.

JMC SOFTWARE and www.thelinuxmall.com are committed to giving the Linux
business home and service provider software users an Irish based point of
sale and support facility. Can you think of a better way to expand the use
of Linux and the overthrough of the darkside software platform.

I would like to thank those who have given me the opportunity to promote
our
company as a resource for purchasing Linux BSD and FreeBSD desktop and
server software. We are also introducing new not before seen in Ireland
distros shortly namely ALT, ELX, SHAULIN, KASPERSKY.

 All the best
 Joseph Coyle
