AIDI (short for Adelaide, I wanted a machine who stood in the top of the
browsing list of the domain) was my workstation from march 1998 to
november 1999. It was a P-II/266 with 64Mb of RAM, ncr53c875, IBM 4.5G
SCSI UW, all on a P2B :)
On november 1999, whan I was given my first laptop, it was reinstalled
with Windows 2000 and given to another person, who dismantled it in
2002. It's been in a dusty storage room until mid december, when our
firewall, a PIII-500, started rebooting randomly. We took AIDI, mounted
the firewall's disk and NICs on it, and voila, it's a perfect firewall
still.

A complete board, with all you need, nothing more, perfectly reliable
for 24/7 operations even after 6 years.
