Apache and Tomcat?  C'mon.  To reiterate, the good news is that you can
do that on basically any distribution.  So pick your poison according to
your own preferences and criteria.

No disrespect intended, but I can't see what merits comment:  You
haven't actually attempted anything, let alone encountered any specific
problem.  You've just been generically inviting Linux distribution
opinions for no good reason.  You might want to just save everyone some
time and search Google and DejaNews[1] for "best Linux distribution".
