[ILUG] More patent ammo

They are probably neither. We edit a Quarterly patent review and every quarter 
we review patents recently filed that are old technology and a waste of time 
(OK its chemistry, not computers). The main problem is young bright guys who 
don't really know the industry and a patent lawyer who is happy to patent it 
because it "not obvious".........trouble is not obvious to patent lawyer 
might be screamingly obvious to someone "versed in the art" as they like to 
say in their pompous manner. Regularly reviewing patents seriously undermines 
your faith in the patent system!!!

Why assume they are scumbag, they might just be clueless morons.

I have had a few people come to me with what is in there mind an
original idea, and they cannot believe someone else had thought of it
before, since they had never seen it before, usually cause they are
newbie's.
