Business: apache, php, mysql, sendmail, vi, xfce4,
           gimp, gftp, tightvnc, firefox, thunderbird,
           openoffice
NonBusiness: mplayer, xmms, klines, gtk-gnutella, grip

I'm a web developer using PHP primarily, hence the local web server.

sendmail is installed just for it's sending purposes (tests); it's never
used for receiving. it may be overkill, but the default install works,
and I'm happy with that.

vi and xfce4 because it's a slow computer. besides, I like vi - I've
tried other development tools, but none of them kick it quite like vi.

openoffice is used for word processing and spreadsheets. I've never used
the other modules, and don't think I will ever need to.
