Unless you're set on pointy clicky interfaces, pebble will do
everything you want, and will fit on a 64M CF (it's a bit of
a squeeze, 128M is better).

It already does all the /var as a ramdisk stuff, so you don't
need to worry about wearing out a CF card.

Another option is m0n0wall (www.m0n0.ch/wall). Yes, I know it's
FreeBSD, but in about 5M flash, it does everything, and has a pointy
clicky web interface to configure it (doesn't support Atheros wireless
cards (they need FreeBSD 5.x) or squid).
