My wife Elana is going to be on RTE tonight (Wed Jul 28 2004), we hope, in a
discussion that will probably include reps from Eircom, ComReg, and IIA.
She needs to hear from folks who've had trouble getting Internet access in
Ireland. RTE needs to know that there are lots of folks who've run into
problems, whether in an urban area or out in rural areas. Some extreme
examples will be equally helpful---the day Eircom made you cry on the
telephone, how you almost lost your job when a service guy never showed up, or
responses from ComReg driving you to drink. Getting connected in Ireland
shouldn't be high on the list of stressful life experiences; we need true
stories to reinforce the point.
Please call her at 087-699-7371 if you've found yourself in that kind of
situation and want to try and get the truth out.
Thanks!
B
