It's a Zyxel Prestige 623 ADSL router with both USB and Ethernet connections. But I've changed from USB to Ethernet because I foresaw potential drivers problems with Linux.

Yes, it's a Zyxel DSL router. I picked up an Ethernet card from PC World a couple of days ago and I'm currently using that ok under Windows.

I was expecting it to pick it up automatically through the Ethernet connection because when I switched from the USB to Ethernet, WindowsXP didn't even blink at me, the connection just worked. Mandrake seems to recognise the network card no problem, but I don't know if I've tried tell it to use DHCP, I'll tried that and see what happens.
Thanks for the response.
KM.
