Grrr....
Now, this could be more down to the GLX part of the NVIDIA driviers
being closed source.  The thing that broke this was a change in the
2.6.6 kernel. If the full NVIDIA drivers were open source, it would have
just been as simple as applying a patch and re-compiling.

JDS uses the 2.4 kernels I seem to remember.

In which system. I have nice fonts and about 500 passwords for website

I'm not having a go, I just feel that FC2 is an excellent distribution,
and some of the things in the email struck me as being down to binary
drivers etc. rather than the distro.
