No, I understood what you were saying.  I was just trying hard not to
blurt out my assessment of your logic.  It would be highly indecorous.

Boy, that's a relief!  I guess I'll be able to sleep tonight, after all.

I or my wife (likewise a sysadmin) can certainly get MX service running
_somewhere in the world within four days_.  If neither of us can, then
very likely we'd be suffering much bigger problems than a downed mail
server, failure of the quadruply-redundant DNS, or an aDSL service
outage.  Maybe a Yucatan-sized meteor, or like that.
