[ILUG] aldi laptop....serial term connectivity

I rarely if ever use XP, at home I have been on linux exclusively since
about 97 (switched from os/2 warp) and at work I have replaced a large
number of windows based systems with linux...the most successful being
moving the student email off of exchange to imap/squirrelmail... 6000
students on a single exchange server doesn't go well....  BUT, there are
applications which need windows, staff still use outlook / exchange and if
there is a problem I need to be able to replicate their environment for
test purposes....

	Speaking of my laptop...first problem.... It doesn't have a serial
port...for connecting to cisco / soekris boxes etc...  I seen 2 different
product types.. a simple usb to serial cable (30 euros at marx, 15 at
maplin) or a usb-serial adaptor (30 at maplin)..

	Which do I need ?????
