Sure?

I just cant see the reason why, if one forges X-Mailer, one would set
it to such a distinctive mailer. _ALL_ mail (ex list mail - which i
dont spam check) i receive with that X-Mailer is spam, bar 3 out of
4k odd in my INBOX (couple of years of email) versus 26 counted by
spamprobe. Of the 4 in my inbox, one reference is from a reply to a
spam complaint i made - the 'good' reference hence is of the quoted
headers of the spam email. The 3rd reference is a paypal-scam mail i
received yesterday.

Outlook mailer headres forged, sure, but I just dont understand why
a spammer would paint a huge target on their email by forging the The
Bat. I dont know the bat, but i'm presuming it has some kind of
advanced list/list merge facilities and hence is used by naive
'spammers' (eg business who dont realise how evil UCE is).

Real Programmers don't write in PL/I. PL/I is for programmers who can't
decide whether to write in COBOL or FORTRAN.
