[ILUG] Eolas Patent Nullified

Not sure if this has been posted here but it is an interesting turn of
events especially when it comes to software patents of dubious
provenance.

The Register (http://www.theregister.co.uk) and News.com have been
reporting that the US Patent Office has nullified the patent granted to
Eolas. Eolas has 60 days to appeal the decision. I guess Microsoft doesn't
have to pay the $521 Million after all. Guess that no press releases were
sent out because the Irish 'technology journalists' seemed to have missed
this key news event.
