What you forget here is that Windows NT 3.5 was probably more stable then 4.0.
If one takes the view that video and printer drives should have stayed outside
of ring-0 space.
So, if one is similarly of the view that a microkernel architecture is
inherently *more stable* by design then a monolithic, in terms of stability,
you'd probably get a more Windows friendly stability comparison with NT 3.5.1
then with NT 4-x.
