Damn, I must be incoherent. Conor manages to nail the point on his
first attempt. Nice one. If this interpretation is correct, then
there *is* an upper limit to the price of access to source code (which,
as I recall, was my original question).
Maybe I sound pissed off, but it feels like I spent the last week
trying to ask a single scalpel-sharp technical question, and getting
cheerfully and repeatedly deluged with GPL enlightenment in response
I've been guilty of the same often enough but I can't say that being on
the receiving end has been much fun.
