Installed yes, upgrade, never tried. I do 80% sometype of network
installs, mostly because I know I will scratch or loose the cd's at some
point.
We have a server (superbox) which serves the purpose. All distros, you
name it.

If its NFS, usually hangs until the resource comes back online. I love NFS
for that - especially when ssh'ing over the shop, I have on occasion
rebooted superbox at critical points.
