Not with Fedora....
Tried a few times to do a net install of FC-1 over ftp and http through
a proxy and from a local repository... all failed...
Pretty sure I tried an install over NFS too...

However, the vast majority of the installs I've done (rh/debian/FreeBSD)
have been via http/ftp, generally from our own local mirror...

Never really had many issues...
