I think this was posted to list already in another thread, but just so
people have the information required to make an informed purchase,
newer SMC2835W cards don't actually use the Prism54 chipset, but Prism
Frisbee. I'm unsure of Linux support, but this page doesn't bode
well:

Does anyone have any experience with actually using this card?
Related to the original question, Marx Computers are (in my
experience) a pretty friendly retailer. They cannot generally tell
you whether something will or won't work under linux, but when I ask
I've always been told that if it doesn't work I can bring it back for
a refund. I think this is pretty fair treatment, although it's mostly
of benefit to Dublin purchasers who can call in for the part and then
call in again to return it if there's a problem, all without incurring
postage charges.
