 Before people offer to give talks, please ensure that they would be
interesting to the majority of ILUG members. Don't offer to give a talk
just because you know something, and want to tell people what they did.

 In the last swathe of talks, back in 1999-2000, we learned the hard way
that talks of interest to 10% of the population that were of a format
"this is what I did" are a waste of time. Just send a mail to the list
instead.

 This isn't a hard and fast rule, mind. Kenn Humborg did one on UUCP email
that left us dazed, confused and kinda scared. But entertained,
nonetheless. Just think "Do a hundred people really want to hear what I
have to say on this", before offering.
