I played with Bacula for an Afternoon, and went back to Amanda. It's
almost really good. But it seems to be a tool that was written with a
config-generator in mind. You'll go crazy trying to make up the configs
yourself though. I was trying to set it up to look after ten clients.
After spending three hours trying to make sure all config files were in
sync, I gave up & went back to Amanda.

Amanda is not good, but it's simple. And that's a lot more important to a
busy sysadmin than good. When they get a decent config generator/GUI for
Bacula, I'll be well impressed.

In the meantime, I'm gonna have a look at NovaStor. Seems decent, and is
much cheaper than most commercial backup packages.
