I used Mandrakes Config GUI to set this up and use KPPP from the menu to 
connect, so I'm not sure what it uses in the background. I wanted to keep 
things as point-N-click as possible since these people don't even know much 
about using M$, much less Linux. I'm hoping to prove that Linux can be easier 
to use once it's setup properly.

I'll have a look, though. Stupid Mode sounds about right for me (-; As I said, 
at home I've got a Smoothwall box and my desktops just access then via 
Konq/I.E. for surfing.

My desktop is Built from scratch with KDE for familiarity. I haven't used 
Mandrake since it was launched until now. I must say it looks much better 
than it did.
