actually, no.  i'm getting to the point where i don't think people should
be free to say it.  not that it should be banned or anything, but i'm at
the point where i won't silently disaprove of it.

i've recently gotten more involved in dems abroad.  a few weeks back we
had a voter registration event that i had been asking the dems abroad
chairwoman to do in galway.  she kept saying, "go do it."  finally i
heard what she said.  so i rented a room and printed out materials.
another volunteer said we should advertise - and then followed up by
doing the advertising.  and in the end because people *did* things,
it was a raging success.

so if there's something you want done, YOU do it.  otherwise shut up.
want more members?  then do advertising and press releases.  want fresher
content?  then do up articles and post them.  want more meetings?
then set them up and announce them.  want to reach out to businesses?
then do so.  want to put linux in schools?  then go to your local school
and get busy.

if you're not sure how to do some of those things - ask the list.
i'm sure people on the list might know who to ask about advertising,
putting up content on linux.ie and how to book space in conference rooms,
pubs or what not.

less whining, more doing.
