I'm kinda suprised no-one has mentioned this before : Are you versed in
html ?
If so - the easiest way is to write it up as a html file ... save with a
.doc extension et voila ! - Your windows-using colleagues will be able
to open it in word, and as long as your html is reasonably rendered, it
should show up as a regular word table !

(who long since realised that just because the bus said "Bisto" on the
back - it didn't mean they were serving it onboard !)
