Yep, that did it, thanks. I'd had trouble doing that on another
machine, but that turned out to be due to a different issue. As a
side-note, it's worth noting that the Mandrake 10.1 upgrade process
makes a mess of a Mandrake 10 system; you must manually remove devfsd,
which is no longer used...
