[ILUG] anyone using TCD's annoying proxy setup?

Not overkill? heanet gives speeds of 8megs/sec getting apt updates,
and combine that with tcd's proxies cache'n the updates after one
machine gets them? is there really enough debian machines inside tcd
to justify it? We have our's currently getting them off heanet with
our own local proxy server cache'n the files.
