This is total mullarkey. Eircom doesn't supply ADSL over ISDN for the 
same reason they do so many other things arseways, so to get ADSL on an 
ISDN line you first must convert the ISDN line to a POTS line, and then 
get ADSL installed on that.

It's entirely possible that this may be a smoother process with Eircom, 
as I think you can place an order to "convert ISDN line to ADSL" but 
this is a two stage process, and you can simply do a "convert ISDN line 
to POTS" via Eircom and then have ADSL installed on that line by 
whichever DSL provider you like. And IME using any other provider will 
give you a happier customer service experience.
