 I'd say just go and hide. Tomcat is just one of the nastiest pieces of
software I've ever tried to install. You can get it all packaged for your
for RedHat, but loads of the packages conflict. The fact that it requires
many non-free components, like Java, doesn't help.

 Perhaps Debian, with it's idea of "one packaging place" might be better.
Is there such a thing as a tomcat-friendly distro ?
